What is DriveMind Athletics?
We’re athletes, teachers, coaches, and parents with over 100+ years of combined experience across high school and collegiate athletics.
We have experienced first-hand the impact of a reactive approach to facility management and the impact it can have on all stakeholders.
“1984 called…they want their lockers back!”
Almost everything about athletics has changed over the past 40 years, except the way we clean.
Programs work to have the best equipment, most advanced gear, new techniques in sports medicine, better supplements and nutrition, cutting edge data, and even virtual reality and AI.
And yet…
stuff still stinks and people still get sick
Why?!
We are here to help you solve these age-old problems!
Program Setbacks
As coaches, trainers, and program administrators, a problem that likely seems out of your control is all of the illnesses and injuries that account for lost practice and game time.
These issues have always been seen as “just the cost of doing business” in athletics.
Realization
Your facilities could be a huge contributing factor.
Taking a proactive approach that addresses the root causes will ensure a healthier environment for all. You can significantly reduce downtime and keep everyone at peak condition.

The maintenance closet is likely filled with liquids, aerosols, and powders that contain harsh chemicals. Combine these with using antiquated rags and mops, and you’re likely doing more harm than good.
Your cleaning “solutions” are simply not solutions!
scientifically not killing what you need them or want them to be killing
filled with harsh chemicals and toxins making them not healthy or safe
environmentally not eco-friendly
economically not cost-effective

What We’ll Tackle

The Players
You’ll harness the combined power of nature and technology with our solutions.
-
SAO® is created by infusing tap water with ozone gas, forming an H2O3 ozone solution which is a powerful cleanser. Ozone damages cell membranes, proteins, and the DNA of microorganisms, making it effective against bacteria, molds, and other pathogens.
-
Hydrogen peroxide acts as a strong oxidizer meaning when it comes into contact with bacteria, viruses, etc., it releases oxygen. This process breaks down the cell walls of microorganisms, effectively killing them by disrupting their cellular functions. H2O2 is an effective cleaner.
-
HClO is a form of salt water. It is actually produced by our white blood cells to help fight infections. When electrolyzed, this liquid solution is a powerful oxidizer that breaks down organic compounds and microorganisms to a disinfectant level.
-
Indoor air cleaning technology involves the use of ULPA and carbon filters at a MERV 20 rating, medical grade centrifugal fans, UVS germicidal light, UVA and PCO to achieve a Log 4 purification (99.99%) of all airborne particulate matter down to .1 micron which includes SARS, COVID, Flu, TB, Norovirus, C-DIFF, MRSA, and RSV.
-
Indoor air quality monitors contain capsules that are designed to detect air pollutants with high accuracy. The sensors embedded in each capsule are engineered to recognize the elements that interact with airborne particles and gases, and convert those interactions in into measurable signals.
-
UV light has the ability to penetrate the cell walls of microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, and fungi. Once inside, the energy from the UV light damages their DNA or RNA, disrupting its ability to function. This effectively inactivates the germs, preventing them from causing infections or multiplying.
-
Electrostatic spraying devices add an electric charge to liquid droplets before they are released. The mist from the nozzle is thus naturally attracted to them, enabling a very uniform layer of spray and a ‘wrap-around’ effect. This reduces gaps in cleaning and increased efficiency.
-
Modelled after the famous toothbrush technology, this technology uses high-frequency vibrations to move mop bristles rapidly. The dynamic action agitates grime with minimal effort. And although very powerful, it is actually gentle on surfaces and distributes cleaning solutions evenly across different floor types.
-
The third atom in O3 makes it unstable and reactive. This reactivity means that the gas can break down organic compounds in bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens. O3 destroys cell walls - inactivating them and preventing reproduction.
